For multiple seasons of the ByDesign television series, Dave Dwyer worked as a one-person field crew across Queensland and Western Australia.
That meant taking responsibility for camera operation, interviews, professional audio, lighting, overlay footage and B-roll. Often, it was simply Dave and the presenter working together to deliver a complete story within a tightly controlled schedule.
Filming for national and international television demanded preparation, technical consistency and the confidence to make fast creative decisions. It was an honour, a challenge and an experience that shaped the way 2 Gems Media approaches every production today.
