2 Gems Media Pty Ltd is a Brisbane video production and photography company. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to 2 Gems Media.

2. Information we collect

When you subscribe, we collect the information you enter in the signup form, such as your email address and, if requested or supplied, your name. We also keep information about your consent, including when and how you subscribed.

We may also disclose information to trusted technology, professional or regulatory service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the newsletter, protect our rights or comply with the law. These providers may only use the information for the services they provide to us.

5. Overseas processing

MailerLite and other technology providers may store or process personal information outside Australia. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from Australian law. We take reasonable steps when selecting and working with service providers to ensure personal information is handled appropriately.

6. Unsubscribing

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by emailing us. We will action unsubscribe requests as soon as practicable and within the period required by Australian spam law.

After you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information on a suppression list so we can respect your request and avoid sending further marketing emails. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not prevent us from sending a necessary response to an enquiry or another non-marketing communication you request.

7. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system is completely secure, but we limit access to people and providers who need the information for the purposes described in this policy.

We keep subscriber information while you remain subscribed and for as long as reasonably required for consent, compliance, dispute-resolution and suppression records. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
